Jasmine Moody made her presence known to everyone who crossed her path. Her parents, Patrick Kidd and Lisa Moody, always admired their daughter’s social skills and stability. Patrick reminisced how Jasmine was “ahead of her time” and a joy to be around. She always sported a cheerful grin and possessed exuberant energy. However, Jasmine’s work ethic and intelligence were even stronger assets.

As a teenager, Jasmine made the honor roll and was involved in dance. She graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School in 2014 and looked forward to continuing her education. According to Lisa, Jasmine wanted to become a nurse. Jasmine was accepted to Texas Woman’s University in nearby Denton, Texas, and began classes later that fall. Her academic performance was once again exceptional, and she continued to take dance classes. In addition, Jasmine joined the campus ROTC program, and quickly became devoted to it.

Outside of school, Jasmine was exceptionally active on social media. She had an entire network of friends on Facebook and Twitter, most of whom she had never met in person.
